Meet the New PULSE Editor

This is the first edition for new PULSE editor Alissa Craft, DO, MBA, FACOP. A graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Craft completed her pediatric residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and fellowship training in Neonatology at the University of California, San Diego.
Most recently, Dr. Craft served as Vice President of Accreditation for the American Osteopathic Association and Secretary for the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation. Prior to that, she served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Craft has received multiple teaching awards, was an AACOM Scholar in Residence in 2011 and completed the Health Policy Fellowship program.
She looks forward to a new era of the Pulse, including more electronic communication and more frequent issues of this newsletter.
