As a third year medical student at NSUCOM, I have been fortunate enough to participate in the medical care of many patients which has been my passion since the 9th grade. During my medical school rotations, I quickly found my niche in Pediatrics, due to both the medical variety and complexity of cases as well as the extremely satisfying patient relationships that I have been able to experience. On my inpatient and outpatient pediatrics rotations I could appreciate the tremendous responsibility a pediatrician has not only to her patient, but also to the entire family. I could see the complete faith that a child's parents have when they look to their pediatrician for answers and I am ready to take on that challenge and honor in the future. Being able to be a part of ACOP PULSE Newsletter is very exciting for me and I hope to be able to better connect medical students, residents and physicians with one another.
